Pepita

Pretty as a picture, PEPITA was rescued from the streets of Pico Rivera in late September along with her five four-day-old kittens. A mere kitten herself - the vet estimates that she was no more than 9 months at the time of delivery - she nonetheless proved herself to be a doting and attentive mom. Now that her seedlings are weaned and ready for their adoptive homes, Pepita is looking for a permanent situation of her own, with or without one of her kittens (Poppy, Hemp, and Sunny are still available).

Pepita loves belly rubs and ear scritches, and gratefully accepts all of the attention you can shower upon her. She is comfortable around dogs and other cats, but could also do well as an only child.

And while she hasn't had exposure to human children, based on the patience she demonstrates with her kittens and her overall laid-back demeanor, we suspect she would be a-OK with a furless sibling. After all, it's more people to love on her.

Pepita is vaccinated (FVRCP and rabies), microchipped, FIV/FeLV negative, and spayed.
