Meet PENNY(WISE) and FREDDY (KRUEGER)! Our Halloween kittens, these two were rescued on October 31 from the streets near USC, where a foster spotted them hopping in and out of an abandoned car. Unprepared for a rescue mission (apparently, not everyone keeps a cat carrier and a handful of churus in their car), she grabbed a discarded cardboard box from the street corner, scooped the kittens up, and brought them home to safety.

Upon intake, these babies were flea-infested, parasite-ridden, and weak with anemia. Six weeks later, they are healthy, robust, and playful, and ready for their forever home. While Freddy is the more extroverted of the two, Penny's calm, gentle demeanor is a great match for someone seeking a lap kitten.

Penny and Freddy are 3 months old, vaccinated, microchipped, FIV/FeLV negative, and spayed/neutered. We would love to see the go home together.
