Meet the Descendants (in order of appearance): JAY, MAL, UMA, and CARLOS. Orphaned at just three weeks and lovingly raised by hand by an expert bottlefeeder, these playful, docile, affectionate kittens are basically perfect, which makes it all the more confounding that we still have them. The good news for their future adopters is that they are now at the ideal age— 8 months—where they are still silly and adventurous, but no longer climb-your-curtains crazy. Another bonus? For those who care about fancy cats, these beauties’ striking features—namely, their golden eyes and angular faces—have tricked Apple Al into believing that they are exotic breeds (Chartreux for Jay, Uma, and Carlos, and Bombay for Mal) instead of the arguably more fabulous SEAACA Shoebox Specials we know them to be. While Carlos, who is a little more reserved, and Uma, who is on the needy side, would do likely best with one of their siblings or another young cat or kitten, Jay and Mal could potentially do well as only cats.
